berdeen Lodge
shares its neighbourhood with the World,s embassies who have
chosen Ballsbridge, the most exclusive area of Dublin, for its
convenience to the city centre. Large, well-kept gardens surrounding
grand mansions give the place the air of refined exclusivity.
Aberdeen lodge shares all these privileges.
S tandards are high
and the rooms are large in this restored Edwardian house; comfort
combines with all the facilities required to make an enjoyable
stay. And yet the room rates are modest for the location and
the quality of this welcoming lodge. There are two four-poster
rooms and two suites with period furniture and whirlpool spas.
Though you might be tempted to
sample Dublin's variety of excellent restaurants, it is well
worth staying put in the Lodge which, in its own way, contributes
to the city's gastronomic reputation. And, with the garden in
full bloom to view, it would be harder to find a more relaxed
ambience.
Location:
Minutes from the city centre by DART. Or, by car, take the Merrion
Road towards Sydney Parade DART station and then first left into
Park Avenue.
